All this starts with the right managers as leaders. The first and most important job is to select the right managers based on the defined roles and competencies derived from the business requirements. It is not sufficient to have high talented individuals – in addition they are required to deploy their managerial skills as team players. They live result-oriented behavior and are therefore trusted leaders. And they challenge and support at the same time their employees to optimally develop their individual potential.
This is then called organizational learning.
In addition a knowledge management culture, which only works when individuals trust each other across organizational and cultural boundaries, is supported. The theme is: result- oriented team work is more valued and important than very individual knowledge.
